Her Journey's Just Begun.

I gained one hell of a guardian angel last week.

HER JOURNEY'S JUST BEGUN
by E. Brenneman

Don't think of her as gone away -
her journey's just begun,
life holds so many facets -
this earth is only one.

Just think of her as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.

Think how she must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.

And think of her as living
in the hearts of those she touched ...
for nothing loved is ever lost -
and she was loved so much.

  3. That is an incredibly beautiful poem. My condolences go out to you and your family. My grandmother passed at the end of July when she was here on vacation. I see the pain my mother is going through and wish I could help make it pass. My heart breaks when I here these stories. However, I believe that having faith that those that move on are in a much better place gives us just a little bit of solace.

  6. I randomly stumbled across your blog via someone else's this morning. I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. I lost my mom on Christmas Eve last year, and while the shock of pain slowly dulls, it still remains. I am praying for your comfort right now, and while I know I just "found" you, I'm here for you! megannkoontz@gmail.com
