That feeling you get after vacation is over...

Well well well, back to reality!

Although we got back from Charleston on Saturday, I'm still feeling that post-vacation low.

I just can't shake it! You all know what I'm talking about - it's hard to switch back to everyday normal after care-free, relaxation, stress free tourist, and only decision you have to make is where to eat dinner & what to get off the cocktail/wine menu.

The cure for this?
Reliving my trip by sharing with all of you lovely people & linking up with Sami! We'll just call this my therapy & you're all my therapists listening to my issues - you so kind, check is in the mail.
Sami's Shenanigans

Let's start where I left off on Thursday, shall we?

1.  I know I know, I already posted a pic of this little nugget. But are you going to complain about another? I wish I had room in my suitcase to bring him home!
2.  Fried green tomato BLT - on just about every menu in Charleston! YUM.
3.  I love a good quote along the sidewalk to make you stop and think.
4.  Did I mention how much I love the houses in Charleston? I'd take any of them.

1.  My first taste of a John Daly - sweet tea vodka mixed with lemonade! LOVED it.
2.  The most comfortable maxi dress ever. ever.
3.  Oleander - a beautiful flowery bush found everywhere!
4.  Taking a walk along the water!

Rainbow Row deserves it's own spotlight! Such a fun spot!

The houses in "the battery" are to die for! So much southern charm! And those front porches... swoon! Did I mention the view from their front door is of the water & the sunset in the evening?

1.  Having a drink with Dad! Blueberry vodka lemonade & a glass of Riesling!
2.  The most beautiful salad I've ever eaten - flowers and all.
3.  I've seen palm trees tons of times but they never get old to me.
4.  On the way to the airport with a home-made salted watermelon popsicle from the King of Pops - eased the pain of leaving just a bit!

And that's all folks! It was a fantastic trip & most definitely won't be my last visit to Charleston! What an amazing city - it's the total package!

I hope everyone else is slowing easing back into the bump and grind of the week. Sure enough another weekend will soon be here, let the countdown begin. But until then, enjoy Monday as much as you possible can!
