Let's take a second from our normally scheduled post to acknowledge that I hit over 100 followers! I'm a little over 1 month into my blogging journey & couldn't be more excited/happy/proud/thankful!
Today was off to a busy start from the second I woke up, so it's a miracle I'm finally actually getting this post! I guess I really need to start writing my posts the night before if I want them to actually be seen at all - new blogger lesson learned! But hey, better late than never!
My weekend was filled with a little work & a lot of play!
A pretty good combo if you ask me!
My Saturday was spent coordinating & managing a wedding with my boss! The bride chose hot pink and black as her colors which made for quite a stunning combo that reminded me of exactly how I wanted my bedroom to look like when I was 13. Throw in some zebra print and I would have been a happy camper.
1.) The guestbook table.
2.) Their sweethearts table complete with black damask comfy chairs.
3.) Pink, black, and white candy buffet.
4.) Pink peonies so beautiful they looked fake!
Sunday was where the fun came in!
1.) Woke up with this little pink-bellied angel snuggled up next to me!
2.) Made a run to Home Depot with my other cutie to get some painting supplies. Next weekend we'll be tackling some painting in our townhouse - and by some, I mean the entire place, all three floors! Is it weird I'm a little excited to paint?
THEN...
Peter took me to try out his new "toy" which actually ended up being quite an empowering experience! I think having a knowledge in self-defense is pretty important, so if anything I know I have this skill if I ever do need it! If not, at least I got out a little frustration & ended up having pretty fantastic aim.

Looks like a fun weekend! I love shooting and actually have my own 9mm xDM. My fiance and I go shooting together a lot :)

ReplyDeleteALL of my high school friends had hot pink bed sheets (silk... seriously), black accents and zebra stripes. It was definitely the cool thing to do. :)
